Handmade organic branch bark wire wrapped bird nest brooches

Now we are well into the new year 2016. I have been working on some organic jewelry items for my first exhibition pieces this year.

As my birds nest necklaces are always popular at Pepper Street Gallery and Shop I have kept within the birds nest theme.

Using found bark and branch items from around my home. I made these delicate little brooches.

The smaller brooches feature a tiny freshwater pearl, a sterling silver bird and nest charm. They are finished with a metal brooch back.

My favourite the larger nest and bird brooch features three fresh water potato pearls, a sterling silver bird charm and is wrapped with silver filled wire. The brooches are one of a kind and are so sweet.

These will be part of the following exhibition along with other jewelry pieces and some of my bird paintings. Please come along and enjoy the fun. At Pepper Street Centre, Magill.
